The “Stranger”, in Croatian “Stranac”, is a short mixed media film visualising artists theory of “possessive emotions” through a symbolic figure of a creature that has been inspired by slavic paganism and artists vision of the self. Throughout this short film we are following main characters life, the solitude but also community, struggle, happiness, connectedness, belonging, not belonging and being invisible when wearing bright colours. “Stranger” has been inspired by artists life of moving away from home and the language, finding herself again and the depression that is at least useful for artistic purposes.
